The association Monaco Disease Power organised the “Third Monaco Conference on Autism and Mental Disability” on 27 November, 2021.The event was held at the Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monaco.

Psychiatrists, neurologists, neuro-paediatricians, psychologists, and experts in autism and educational science gave presentations and talks throughout the day of conferences.

Professor Catherine Barthélémy, paediatric psychiatrist and special adviser to the Monaco Disease Power Association, was responsible for the scientific scrutiny and line-up of the programme. The conference’s opening address was also given by the Professor, who is Emeritus Professor of University of Tours and who led the university’s “Inserm Autism” team for 20 years.

The Cuomo Foundation was represented at the conference by its director general Mr. Francisco A. Diaz Lison. The foundation has been supporting the Monaco Disease Power Association’s efforts to promote social inclusion for children and young adults with mental or physical disabilities since 2012.
