The 23rd edition of the Premio Roma Danza international competition was held at the National Academy of Dance in Rome from 11 to 15 July 2025. Organized with the support of the Italian Ministries of Culture and of University and Research, the event has benefited since 2019 from the support of the Cuomo Foundation, its main financial partner.

Alternating each year between choreography and performance, the competition is aimed at emerging young dancers in the fields of classical, contemporary, and experimental dance. The 2025 edition, dedicated to performance, also highlighted the fast-growing discipline of videodance, which is particularly popular with a young and international audience.
